Overview of “dSPACE Japan User Conference 2026”

Tokyo, September 10, 2026 – Astemo Cypremos, Ltd. (hereafter “Cypremos”), a subsidiary of Astemo, Ltd. specializing in software and cloud services, will present and exhibit its next-generation test automation for SDV development, which leverages the Cypremos Engineering Suite^*1 (hereafter “CES”) and dSPACE’s simulation environments, at “dSPACE Japan User Conference 2026.”^*2 Hosted by dSPACE Japan K.K., the event will take place on Thursday, September 17, 2026, at the TAKANAWA GATEWAY Convention Center.

With advances in autonomous driving technology and connected cars, vehicle-installed software is becoming increasingly large-scale and complex, creating a growing need to improve the efficiency of development and validation processes. Cypremos addresses these challenges by leveraging technologies such as cloud computing and connectivity to enhance the efficiency of digital engineering in SDV development.

At the Conference, Hiroshi Shibuya, Head of Development at Cypremos, will deliver a presentation on the process of automatically generating test cases based on upstream requirement specifications and validating them in integrated SIL/HIL^*3 environments from dSPACE. To tackle real-world challenges in the SDV implementation phase, such as the increasing scale and complexity of software and the rising verification workload, the presentation will introduce a concrete approach to streamlining the entire process from test design to validation.

*3 SIL(Software-in-the-Loop) is a method for verifying software functions and control logic by executing ECU software and control object models (data replicating vehicle behavior) in a simulation environment. HIL(Hardware-in-the-Loop) enables integrated system validation by combining actual ECU hardware with real-time simulation of surrounding sensors and vehicle behavior.

By integrating Cypremos’ CES with dSPACE’s simulation environments, the company aims to streamline the entire verification process, from generating test cases based on requirement specifications to executing tests in a SIL environment.

Cypremos will demonstrate its next-generation test automation solution, which attendees can experience firsthand. In the demo, the test specifications and execution scripts that are generated from requirement specifications are linked with dSPACE’s SIL solutions, which reflect the entire process of executing verification in an actual environment. Attendees will have the opportunity to experience this next-generation test automation solution, which automates test procedures and programs that previously required a vast amount of manual time, simultaneously achieving a reduction in manual labor hours and uniform quality.
